The service
- Instarug lets you describe a rug, see photorealistic AI-generated designs, refine them in conversation, and order a physical strike-off sample or a finished hand-tufted rug based on a design.
Your account
- You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You must provide accurate information when creating an account or placing an order.
Designs & ownership
- You may use the designs generated in your account for your personal or commercial purposes.
- You may not upload reference photos or request designs that infringe someone else’s intellectual property, and you are responsible for the content you provide.
- AI-generated images can vary: a produced rug is a handmade interpretation of the design image, and modest variation in color, texture, and proportion is inherent to hand-tufting.
Orders, pricing & payment
- Prices shown in the app apply at the time of order and are charged via Stripe when you place the order.
- Custom rugs are made to order. Because each piece is produced specifically for you, orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun, and made-to-order items are not returnable except for defects in workmanship.
- We encourage ordering a strike-off sample before commissioning a full rug; samples are the reference for color and texture expectations.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the service — including attempting to access other customers’ data, generating unlawful or infringing content, or interfering with the service’s operation.
Disclaimers & liability
- The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.
Changes
- We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
